The Belgian court decided to release the Finnish singer Rakel Traveri from prison in Brussels, who was detained since the end of November last year during a conflict with her former Belgian partner regarding custody of their daughter, according to the statements of both parties' lawyers. Traveri, who has been in a different situation with the Belgian Dramaturg Jan Gussen since 2019, achieved an agreement with the latter, which the court in Brussels agreed to under certain conditions during a closed session.

In cooperation with the European order for Traveri's arrest, she was detained in June of last year at the Rome airport upon her arrival in Italy, and at the end of November, she was transferred to the Haren prison near Brussels, after she exhausted all legal means before the Italian courts in an attempt to prevent her extradition to Belgium.
