Among the ministers of foreign affairs of the USA, Antony Blinken visited Brussels to hold urgent talks with Europeans. The main topic of the meeting was the situation in Afghanistan after the Taliban took power. Blinken discussed plans to evacuate citizens from the country, as well as coordinating the assistance with the European Union on this matter.
The participants also discussed humanitarian aid to the people of Afghanistan, who find themselves in a very difficult situation due to the ongoing circumstances. Blinken emphasized the importance of cooperation with the international community to provide assistance to those affected by the conflict.
"We must unite our efforts to help the Afghan people during this challenging period," stressed the U.S. Secretary.
