The Minister of Foreign Affairs of the European Union, Kaja Kallas, stated that sanctions against Russia will continue due to human rights violations. She reported this after a meeting of the foreign ministers of EU countries.
According to Kallas, sanctions against Russia will remain in effect due to the situation with human rights in the country. She also noted that the EU will continue to uphold the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine.
"We discussed sanctions on Russia and support for sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity of Ukraine. A decision on the extension of sanctions will be made in June," Kallas emphasized.
