Lautaro Martínez's former teammate at Inter Milan, Radja Nainggolan, is facing legal troubles after being detained for his alleged involvement in a drug trafficking ring. The Prosecutor's Office detailed that the investigation focuses on the importation of cocaine from South America to Europe, specifically through the port of Antwerp, to be distributed in Belgium.

Prosecutor Julien Moinil informed Le Derniere Heure that the case is part of an investigation against organized crime, where the federal police of Brussels carried out 30 searches on Monday, January 27, 2025. Nainggolan, currently 36 years old, plays for Lokeren Temse in the Belgian second division and previously was part of the Belgian national team.

With a notable career at clubs like Roma and Inter Milan, where he coincided with Lautaro Martínez during the 2018/19 and 2020/21 seasons, Nainggolan is now facing serious allegations related to illegal drug trafficking.
